SAT Test Prep
SAT Exam Information
The SAT exam is intended to evaluate a students readiness for college.
The SAT exam is about 2 hours long and completed on a computer or tablet which will be provided on test day if need be. Students can bring in their own computer or tablet.
The SAT exam is also computer adaptive. For instance, if a student does well on section 1, then section 2 will have more difficult questions. The increased difficulty also means more points per question correctly answered.
A built-in graphic calculator will available on the test, though students can bring in their own calculator.
Prime Prep Tutoring SAT preparation courses will raise SAT scores by helping students achieve a better understanding of the course material and the exam elements.
The Evidence-Based Reading & Writing section scores range from 200 - 800.
The Math section scores range from 200 - 800.
Potential total scores range from 400 - 1600.
​You can register for the exam on the College Board Website up to about 5 weeks before a given test date.​​

The SAT is offered seven times per year.
​March, May, June, August, October, November and December.
